On May 21 a coin dedicated to the "800 Years of the University of Salamanca" is issued. It is a collection coin with a facial of 10 euros minted in 925 silver, with a limited edition of a maximum of 6,000 pieces.
On the reverse side, an image of the Plateresque façade of the University of Salamanca building is reproduced. On the left, in two lines and in capital letters, the value of the 10 euro piece; to the right, in two lines, the years 1218 and 2018; below, the brand of Ceca. In the upper part of the coin, in two lines and in capital letters, the legend University of Salamanca, with the corporate typography of this university center.
On the obverse is reproduced the portrait on the left of His Majesty the King Don Felipe VI. In the upper part, in a circular and upper case, the legend Felipe VI King of Spain appears. In the lower part, between two points, the year of minting 2018. Surrounds the motifs and legends a gráfila of pearls.
