On the occasion of the twenty-first edition of the FIFA World Cup of Football Russia 2018 to be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018, the Portuguese INCM will broadcast a coin dedicated to the sporting event tomorrow March 22. The coin with facial of 2.5 euros can be purchased in three versions with the same design, one minted in cupro-nickel at face value, and two in precious metals, one silver and one gold.
The reverse side of the coin has a player in the center with the ball on his feet in an auction position, on his left the legend "Portugal 2018", on the right a stylized composition full of balls. In the left semicircle the legend "FIFA World Championship". In the lower part the mint mark «INCM» and the name of the author «J.DUARTE».
On the obverse in the lower part and in the center the logo of the 2018 FIFA World Championship «2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA», in the upper left a stylized composition with several balls, symbolizes the game. In the center, from the top the National Coat of Arms of Portugal, on its right the face value "2,50 EURO".
