On September 4, the Bank of Ukraine issued a coin with a 2 hryven facial coin minted on an alpaca alloy dedicated to Vasily Remeslo, a scientist and agricultural expert who managed to create 40 new varieties of cereals, which have served to significantly increase the productivity of the main cereal crops in Ukraine and the rest of the world.
The reverse of the coin shows a portrait of Vasily Remeslo decorated with some ears of corn, on the left is his name and on his right the year of birth and the death 1907-1983.
The obverse of the coin shows as main motive a woman who is holding bundles of wheat. As is customary in all Ukrainian currencies, the national coat of arms of Ukraine, the year of issue, the face value and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine are also represented.
