The fourth coin of the series "Fauna in cultural monuments of Ukraine" dedicated to the Bull, was issued last March 15 by the Bank of Ukraine. This piece and all of the series have facials of 5 hryven and are minted in 925 silver of purity.

On the obverse of this piece, and all of the series, is represented in gold a monument, piece or historical engraving dedicated to the animal in question, always located or discovered in Ukraine. On the reverse we see a characteristic image of the animal.

The obverse shows at the top a small emblem of the State of Ukraine and the inscription Ukraine, the year of coinage 2017 and its face value. In the center appears a golden bony plate, corresponding to the head of a bull (Ternopil, 3500 - 3700 years before Christ), to the right a vessel used in rituals.

On the back is the head of a bull to the left and a fragment of cave paintings depicting goats that appeared in caves and caves containing several thousand petroglyphs - rock carvings that date from the late Paleolithic to the Middle Ages.
